On Saturday we went to check out Sushi Mori on Barnet Highway in Coquitlam.

One step inside and you’ll notice the decor. The origami was neatly done, the trees added color to brighten the mood and lanterns give the restaurant a pleasant glow. It’s like dining outside on a warm summer night.

James and I ordered Sushi Boat B. The food was fantastic and the sushi was fresh. I forgot to photograph the boat but it looked just as good as it tasted! I think we’ve found our new favorite sushi restaurant. I look forward to going back and trying other things on their menu!

Today Yogi was admitted to the vet for surgery to repair a cracked nail. The top of the nail on his back paw split in two and lifted up exposing the quick. Yowza! They put him under, removed the top of the nail, cleaned up the area, bandaged him up and sent him home with a slew of meds. Poor Yogi!

It’s been quite the month for vet visits…it’s a good thing the pets are cute.

YouTube - Music Discovery Project:

Type the name of an artist and YouTube generates a playlist that includes music from the artist you’ve entered and from similar artists. For example, I entered “Bjork” and YouTube added music from Radiohead, Air, Massive Attack and Aphex Twin. After the playlist is generated, you can remove some of the songs, add new songs, save the playlist or watch all the videos.

Tonight was my first class at Peak Perfomance Taekwondo Academy. Lots of kicking and screaming stuff in Korean. It’s quite the stress reliever. The master and head instructor are sticklers for form but it’s a fun atmosphere too. I can’t wait to get my uniform next week. Woo hoo!

Just for support and encouragement, James took the class with me but had to sit out the last half because he over exerted himself and almost vomited. LOL!
